The Burns’

Rarely do I have a wedding during the week, but yesterday was a welcome exception.  Once again, at the lovely Villa Antonia.  The weather was gorgeous.  The ceremony took place at 6:15 – a few minutes off schedule but it was worth the wait as there was not an empty seat.  The bride had chosen a soft buttery yellow as her color – the arbor (pagoda?) was draped in satin and there were yellow flower balls hanging from the aisle seats.  The men all wore black tuxedos with black vest and yellow ties and the ladies wore knee-length yellow dresses.  The bride was stunning in her strapless gown with embellished bodice and pick-up skirt.  The ceremony was brief – around 8 minutes – but with some surprise vows for the groom that made everyone laugh.  Afterward all of the guests gathered in the courtyard for a quick group photo.

Of course I will post photos as soon as I have them.  Aubony and Ben – I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness.
